Infosys is a global digital services provider headquartered in India with more than 230,000 employees worldwide. Infosys supports companies in various industries such as banking, pharmaceuticals, IT and manufacturing in their transformation into the digital age. The Indian IT-company has been active in Switzerland since 2002 - apart from the sites in Kloten and Basel, the company now also has Baden as a location. According to Volker Eppler, Head of the "Turbomachinery & Propulsion" division at Infosys, the proximity to industry in the energy, turbomachinery and aviation sectors and the expertise of local specialists were the decisive factors in choosing Baden.

Infosys included Aargau Services in its evaluation of the site at an early stage. This enabled Aargau Services to quickly bring together all the cantonal authorities involved, clarify existing issues and find efficient solutions - for example with regard to residence permits or the search for suitable premises in the city of Baden. “For the opening event in the Villa Boveri, Aargau Services mobilised its network and gave us the opportunity to connect with important personalities from industry, government and the administration of the city of Baden”, concludes Volker Eppler about the collaboration between Infosys and Aargau Services.
