Café: Not just coffee and cake!
The café and the museum shop are located on the ground floor of the barn, which was completely restored in 2000. Admission to the castle courtyard and the barn is free. The barn also contains two computer stations where you can take an exciting journey through time.

The castle café mirrors the style and ambience of Hallwyl Castle. With a good portion of pizzazz and friendliness, it presents dining culture with reference to the castle, the surrounding areas and the multi-faceted public.

There is also the possibility of organising a small family or company get-together (up to 25 persons) with a drinks reception in the café (or weather permitting in the castle courtyard). For bookings please call +41 (0)62 767 60 14. Groups of over 25 persons

Shop: Lasting reminders
The museum shop in the barn offers everything from guide books and scientific publications to maps and educational material to games, posters and children’s literature. The range also includes local crafts and jewellery, agricultural produce from the Seetal valley and Canton Argovia (flour, apples, wine). Promotional products such as Hallwyl Castle t-shirts and crockery are also on sale.
